In the 9U Division we will focus on the basics of the game of baseball in a fun learning atmosphere.
There will be a mix of baseball-related and athletic movement exercises to keep the kids engaged during practices.
We will mix in games throughout the season with both Coach pitch and Kid pitch.

9U Spring Ball plays fair play rules.
All players play at least every second inning, and all players bat. Coaches typically divide players into groups during practice of similar skill level, so that each skill can be scaled up or down in a way that is appropriate for all players.

This the first division where summer "All-Star" play is introduced.  
CVBA often forms 1 team at the 8U level, 1 team at the 9U level, as well as practice teams dependant on interest. The season usually runs late June through early August.  

There are additional fee(s) for those participating in the summer program and teams may travel to play other associations.
