5u - Blastball

Monday nights starting in early May

For the 2026 season - players born: 2022 & 2021

Blastball is the very first introduction to the game of baseball.

  • It focuses on the very basics. Catching, throwing, batting and running bases
  • It is all about having fun played with soft bats and balls and learning to love sports.​​​​​​​

7U - ROOKIE

Monday & Wednesday nights starting in early May

For the 2026 season - players born: 2019 & 2020

7U baseball is a development level in which the fundamental skills (throwing/pitching, catching, and hitting) and knowledge of the game are learned in a fun environment.  The primary focus is on fun and sportsmanship.

Spring House Season:  Early May - Late June 

  • Played with a soft baseball to ensure players can learn the game with confidence.
  • Players will hit from an underhand pitch by coaches. A tee can be used if necessary.

8U/9U - Tadpole

Tuesday & Thursday nights starting in early May

For the 2026 Season - Players Born: 2017 & 2018

9U - Tadpole baseball is a development level in which the fundamental skills (throwing/pitching, catching, and hitting) and knowledge of the game are learned in a fun and semi-competitive environment with balanced teams.  The primary focus is on fun, repetitions and sportsmanship in a game setting.

Spring House League Season: Early May - Late June 
  • Games will be played with a soft baseball to ensure players of all levels can learn the game with confidence
  • All games are 4 innings. There are league standings with play-offs and a champion crowned at the end of season.
  • Players will hit from a sling-style pitching machine run by coaches or coach pitch. 
  • Practice night usually consits of 3 teams on a field. It will consist of 3 teams rotating on the regulation field playing a head-to-head game with the 3rd team in the outfield area learning a new skill. After 1 AB each, teams will rotate.

    Jets All-Star teams will be seperated by 8U and 9U. More information can be found under the Jets tab.

10U/11U - MOSQUITO

Monday & Wednesday nights starting in late April 

For the 2026 Season - Players Born: 2015 & 2016

Mosquito baseball is a development level in which the fundamental skills (throwing/pitching, catching, and hitting) and knowledge of the game are learned in a fun and competitive environment with balanced teams.

Spring House League Season: Late April-  Late June 

  • Games will be played with a regulation baseball.
  • Players will pitch the entirety of the game.  The CVBA implements a pitching accuracy test for those players wanting to pitch.
  • All games are 5 innings. There are league standings with a play-offs and a champion crowned at the end of season
  • Games will be played with a regulation baseball
  •  11U Spring Ball plays fair play rules.
  • Practice nights are Monday. Game nights are Wednesday
  • Coaches will divide players into groups on practice night with players of similar skill level. Each skill can be scaled up or down in a way that is appropriate for all players to learn at their pace.


    Jets All-Star Teams will be seperated by 10U and 11U. More information can be found under the Jets tab.

13U - PEEWEE

Tuesday & Thursday nights starting in late April

For the 2026 season - players born: 2013 &  2014

13U - Peewee baseball is a development level in which the fundamental skills (throwing/pitching, catching, and hitting) and knowledge of the game are learned in a fun and competitive environment with balanced teams.

Spring House League Season: Late April - Late  June 

  • The 13U house league will be competitive league play, but will not include the Jets AAA All-Star players at the 13U age group ensuring a fair, yet still competitive quality of game. 
  • Players will pitch the entirety of the game.  The CVBA implements a pitching accuracy test for those players wanting to pitch.
  • All games are 5 innings. There are league standings with a play-offs and a champion crowned at the end of season
  • Games will be played with a regulation baseball
  • 13U Spring Ball plays fair play rules.
  • Practice nights are Tuesday. Game nights are Thursday.

15U - BANTAM

Players typically have one practice and one game per week. Dependant on the number of players/teams, some travel to Campbell River may be required.
